Car Insurance Jaguar (Car Insurance). How high are gas prices going this year? How high are gas prices going this year? I am in California. high lika mofo! dats howw high homboi! $7.00 per gallon Gas prices go up and down seasonally. For the last six or seven years, the beginning of May has typically been at or near the maximum gas price on the West Coast for that summer. However, in two of those years, it peaked at 50 cents above the May price. So gas prices will probably not be gaining too much more than 50 cents. My guess would be 4.50 to 5 a gallon. Prices always go up during the summer but it's not gonna be an extreme hike from say 3.75 in january to 6.50 in the summer unless there's some major oil spill again or war, or something along those lines Too damn high. we have iraq in our hands lets pump that oil til we get our reparations for killing suddam. then let the iraqis keep the equipment. They benefit because they have the resources but not the technology and we benefit because we get our war money back a win-win situation. Started happening recently, don't know how just did. The problem is when i press the gas a bit it chokes up and wants to die. If i step on it i can get it going but will still choke up at first before it actually runs fine. It wont die if i put it on neutral and just let it sit. starts fine, unless if i let it die, then i have trouble starting it. im guessing it has something to do with the fuel lines or something. ... im new to mechanics so not sure what it could be. car insurance. Jaguar . How to Replace a GM Door Hinge BushingIf a door is becoming difficult to close because it is not lining up perfectly with the door striker, the door bushings are probably worn. To test the door hinge bushings, lift up on the door at the opposite side where the latch assembly is located. If the door can be lifted with free play, the bushings are indeed worn and need to be replaced. The door hinges can be replaced by one individual although for safety's sake, a helper should be used to support the door. The door is very heavy and awkward. Difficulty:Moderate Instructions Things You'll Need Floor jack Hammer Drift Soft cloth Step by Step : 1 Open the door all the way and place the floor jack under the center of the door. Raise the floor jack to the point that it just contacts the bottom of the door. If the jack does not have a rubber cover on its arm, lay something soft on the jack so it does not scratch the door. 2 Drive the lower pin out of the hinge with a hammer and the drift. Hit the pin on the bottom and drive it upward. Drive the upper pin out in the same manner; however, keep a hand on the door so that it does not tip off the jack when this pin is removed. 3 Drive the bushings out of the hinges with the drift. 4 Insert the new bushings and align the door hinge on top of the frame hinge containing the bushings. Line the holes up and insert the pins. This is where the helper comes in handy. A second pair of hands makes lining up the door hinges much easier. Drive the pins in all the way with the drift.
Jaguar . How to Replace the Bushings in a Toyota TacomaThe Toyota Tacoma is a versatile truck and can be used for work, play, or just plain, simple transportation. The Tacoma can be outfitted with a variety of suspension packages for high performance off-roading or a luxury ride, if desired. The front half of the Tacoma is equipped with coil springs and a MacPherson strut-type assembly, with the back half of the vehicle sporting leaf springs for reliable handling even with heavy loads. It is not very difficult to install rear springs and bushings. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Set of replacement springs and bushings 2-ton floor jack 2 jack stands Good-quality socket set Adjustable crescent wrench Set of box end wrenches Lug wrench Good-quality torque wrench Step by Step : 1 Chalk the front wheels and set the parking brake. Using the 2-ton floor jack, hoist the Tacoma rear axle one side at a time and support it with the jack stands. 2 Loosen the lug nuts and remove the rear wheels on both sides to allow room to work on the spring assemblies. 3 Loosen and remove the cotter pin, locking nut, and washer from the shock absorber prior to removing the shock absorber from the spring seat. 4 Next, unfasten the parking brake clamp and remove. 5 Unscrew the u-bolts and nuts and remove the spring seat assemblies from the springs. It will be necessary that you use the jack and jack stands in conjunction to perform this operation by lessening the weight on the springs so the shackle nuts can be removed. 6 Using a pry bar on the inner plate of the spring shackle remove the bracket pin from the front of the spring hanger assembly. The rubber bushing can now be removed from the spring. This area is in close proximity to the parking brake cable, so use caution. 7 Inspect the spring and other part for signs of wear before replacement of the spring. If parts show signs of wear, replace as necessary. 8 Install the new rubber bushings into the spring eyelets while aligning with the spring hanger brackets. 9 Insert the shackle pins back throughout the hanger brackets and rubber bushings. Assemble the remaining suspension parts removed earlier in reverse order. Step by Step : 10 Tighten and torque the shackle pin retaining nuts and the u-bolts to the recommended specifications. Reinstall the shackle cotter pins and crimp ends over the nuts to lock in place. Step by Step : 11 Place the wheels back on both sides of the axles using the lug nuts and torque to proper specifications. Step by Step : 12 Using the 2-ton jack, remove the jack stands and lower the rear of the vehicle. Jump up and down on the back bumper to set the suspension parts in place. Using the torque wrench re-tighten to recommended torque requirements. This includes the shock absorber bolts, hanger pin nuts and the shackle pin nuts. Step by Step : 13 Test-ride the newly installed components. Tips & Warnings Always remove the pressure from spring and suspension components before removal, to lessen danger.
